A Glass Heart

Sticks and stones may not exactly break bones, But words will forever hurt you. For our hearts are made of glass, Fragile and weak, Easily shattered by the slightest of things.

Words are thrown around as deadly darts, Piercing through and breaking , Delicate, glass hearts.

Shards of glass ,carefully pieced together, Proof of a heart that was once whole. Cracks, remnants of words gone out of control; An unwanted remembrance lasted til forever.
